The Human Medicines Regulations 2012
The MHRA have attempted to simplify medication legislation and make it more accessible and easier to understand and this has culminated in The Human Medicines Regulations which came into force from August 2012.
They replace nearly all UK medicines legislation- most of the Medicines Act 1968 and over 200 statutory instruments, and it means that most medicines legislation can now be found in a single legal text, although there are relatively few changes to current practises.
