NICE Guidance UPDATE on Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
A summary of new evidence regarding the management of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) has been produced by NICE to update the original clinical guideline (CG 26) published in 2005.
Regarding medication, evidence was found to support the use of fluoxetine and venlafaxine although neither is currently licensed for PTSD.
