Antisocial behaviour and conduct disorders in children and young people: recognition and management (CG158)

This NICE Guideline was updated in April 2017 replacing the previous guideline. CG158 covers “recognising and managing antisocial behaviour and conduct disorders in people aged under 19, with the aim of improving care by identifying people who are at risk and when interventions can prevent conduct disorders developing.”

“The update identified 4 research recommendations as out of date in the surveillance review and were deleted.”

This NICE guideline makes five recommendations on:

  • Selective prevention
  • Identification and assessment
  • Psychosocial interventions for treatment and indicated prevention
  • Pharmacological interventions
  • Service delivery
