QS198 Suspected neurological conditions: recognition and referral

This NICE quality standard was published in January 2021 and covers the assessment and referral of children and adults who have symptoms or signs associated with neurological conditions. It makes six quality statements covering:

  • Headaches and ‘red flag’ symptoms in children
  • Head size and shape in children
  • Suspected dystonia in adults
  • Hallpike manoeuvre for adults
  • Functional neurological disorders in adults
  • Individualised care for adults
