In Clinical Guidelines, NICE guidelines, Palliative Care

This quality standard was published in March 2017 and covers adult patients who are dying, during the last few days of their life. It does not cover care for dying patients before the last few days of their life.

NICE produce a whole range of quality standards, which focus on high-priority areas for improvement in a specific care or service area.

  • Individualised care
  • Anticipatory prescribing
