New e-learning topics coming soon

 In Developing your Team

We are delighted to announce that we will be launching two new e-learning topics later this year.

Our e-learning topic on Prescribing & Administering for doctors and nurses has been a resounding success, with over 1700 successful participants over the past year, so we have decided to expand our e-learning programme by adding two new topics:

  • Side-effects of medication
  • Rapid tranquillisation

Both topics will be suitable for hospital clinical staff – doctors and nurses.

The Side-effects topic will also have a section which will be tailored for healthcare assistants (HCAs). This will assist HCAs to recognise potential side-effects and to report these in an appropriate manner to clinical staff.

NICE recommends that all staff who are involved with rapid tranquillisation should have training regarding the risks and use of medication and the development of the e-learning topic in rapid tranquillisation will facilitate this.

All of the above e-learning topics will be available at no extra charge to our hospital clients.
