 In Clinical Guidelines, NICE guidelines

Clinical guidelines have been developed by NICE which cover recognition, referral, diagnosis and management of adults on the autism spectrum.

As well as recommending what treatments should be offered, the guideline outlines interventions that should be avoided for managing core systems and these include the routine use of psychotropic drugs, vitamins, hormones and dietary restrictions.
