NICE Clinical Guideline on Anaphylaxis (CG 134)

These recommendations are concerned with the care pathway after administration of the emergency adrenaline injection.

These include documenting all the clinical features of the suspected anaphylactic reaction, including the suspected cause; confirming the diagnosis (using mast cell tryptase testing); referral to allergy testing clinic; provision of an adrenaline injector; and patient information and support.
