NICE Guidance on Social Anxiety Disorder (CG 159)

Social anxiety disorder (or social phobia) is very common, with an estimated lifetime prevalence of 12%.

Co-morbidity with other mental health problems such as depression, substance misuse and other anxiety related disorders is common. Guidance of diagnosis, assessment and treatment for children and adults is provided.
