Physical health of people in prison (NG57)
This guideline covers assessing, diagnosing and managing problems with physical health of people in prison, aiming to improve their health and wellbeing. This can be achieved via coordinated care and more effective approaches to prescribing, dispensing and supervising medicines.
Whilst this guidance is aimed at clinical staff and managers in prisons, the framework is broadly applicable to other secure settings.
