RCPsych Standards for Adult In-Patient Mental Healthcare (OP79)

In Pharmacy Information, Regulations and Standards

The Royal College of Psychiatrists (RCPsych) have reviewed existing standards and regulations and recommend a checklist of 10 minimum standards for assessing mental health wards.

One of these standards is concerned with “information sharing and involvement of patients in care-planning.” Ashtons provide resources to assist with complying with this standard and these include the Patient Information Leaflet Folder, Handy Charts and the Choice and Medication website.
